Some of the products have been part of everyday life for a long time, and their environmental performance is not something we ever think about. Some of the other products presented have only recently become available, or have just begun to be marketed.
Some will certainly have a positive impact on the environmental situation, while others may fall into obscurity as we, the consumers, move on to other new innovations.
We have also examined the future and described products which are still at the idea and development stages, but may become interesting at some later point. The selection has been subjective, and the intention is not to market individual companies but to demonstrate the environmental benefits of new products.
